Hip Hop Fashion
Hip Hop Is Dead!
Big ups to Nas for putting that statement
out there. A lot of rappers jumped on that 5
minutes of fame ish when he made that
comment but he was telling the truth. Real
rappers know what real rap is. I hear these
dudes in the rap industry talking about
they're going platinum so rap must not be
dead, wrong! Yo if you not spitting
metaphors and slappin listeners upside the
head with some knowledge then your raps are
dead! They're not uplifting the conscious!
They're not ampin the crowd up to feel proud
of who they are! They not givin........

Jay Z...Da dude is just a beast in the
industry. "Chargin dem dudes double!" Aiight
way back when I heard him rappin fast and
ended it with "you better spit that sh#!t
ouuuttttt"...I knew the dude was destined
for greatness. When I heard the joint where
he said he was brooklyn's own, I knew he was
the truth. I lived in the projects in Jersey
city and you would not be able to relate to
lines like "I'm from the other side where
other guys dont walk too much and girls in
the projects wouldn't f#!K us said we talk
to much so they ran up to tompkins thought
them dudes they could trust I dont know what
they thought them dudes was foul just like
us..." thats real talk right there. Girls in
the projects do not like messin with dudes
that live in the same project. Don't let me
get to where he said "the plan was to get
funds and escape off the set, to achieve
this goal quick I sold all my weight wet"
Yo, if you didnt live it you cant even begin
to know what this dude is talkin about. Only
those triple beam niccas can relate to it.
Even when he said in another rap about
shooting his brother and the gun was burnin
his waist. Those are little details that
only a dude who actually let off shots know
what he talkin about. So I peeped the dude
was the truth a long time ago. Then when I
found out how he kicked open the industry
doors by forming his own label and tossin a
bag of money on the desk of a radio station
dj and sayin "is this enough?" It was a
wrap, a real hustler knows money talks. The
dj didnt take it but he showed him how to go
about it. Let me say this about the whole
Nas battle. Jay Z won that battle. Don't get
it twisted, Jay Z got murdered on the Either
joint, but at the end of the day....To step
up and own the dude thats bumpin his gums
about you? To make the same dude come work
for you??? Nas had to all of a sudden check
in with the boss...Jay Z. Now from a hood
point of view.....Jay Z killed any chance
Naz had of winning the battle with that
move. Jay gets mad props for that
move...like he said...."this is chess not
checkers" lol. Now he running around with
his trophy piece of r&b on his shoulder.
Together, according to sources in 2008 they were the
highest paid celebrities. Beating out Will
and Jada Smith. If you going to do it then
do it big Jay.(Click Here to Post Comment) True Hustler!
Lol, Mr. No Bitchassness, this dude is a
beast with it. Yo the dude said he'll work
for free just to get through the door! He
did it and now he got all these hungry dudes
n dudetts following in his footsteps in the
music industry. The father of internship.
Difference is, he came through the door with
nothing, the artist he got working for free
is going Platinum! Eat on Diddy Eat on! Last
I checked all your artist was over 18. Diddy
took nothing and turned it into something.
At the end of the day, the ends justify the
means. A lot of people say that Diddy be
doin a lot of dirt to people, but at the end
of the day......who isn't? He got s@#tted on
by Andre Horrel and worked for free! He took
what he learned and turned it into his
success. So now he's in Andre Horrel's
position and dudes/dudettes need to follow
in his footsteps. Real talk, people don't
want to pay their dues anymore. Everybody
feel once they shake the nicca hand they're
going to skip the bacon and go straight to
steak. Serve up some bacon and they ready to
starve then take the bacon and be happy
until the steak dinner comes. At the end of
the day..listen up..."You gotta got through
Sh#!t to get sh#!t

Dre! Mannnn..Dre been through hell in a hand
basket. If anybody ever had to go through
sh#!t to get Sh#!t it was this dude. The
dude got talent, brains, and a dont give up
mentality. He had to bounce through a few
camps before he figured out how to do it on
his own. I can remember in one of his
chronic albums where he said give him one
more platinum plaque and then f@#k rap you
can have it back! Along came eminem and made
a platinum plaque look like gold! Dre had
done it, straight up doctored his success
story. He is the owner of Interscope
records, with people like eminem, the game,
and 50¢ signed to the label.

When Eminem first came out I said the dude
was going to do it big. I had dudes sayin "A
white boy?" I told them to just listen to
his lyrics, but they couldn't get past the
fact that he was white. I could hear it in
his lyrics though. Look at the kid now. Blew
threw the roof! He didn't try to be gangsta
with it. All he did was be himself and rap
about his hell in his life. Which is what
real rap started out as. You rapped about
your enviroment and how you felt about it.
Yo he came off on that "marsh" rap. I'm
color blind when it comes to rap, all I know
is skillz. Eminem gets you caught up in
stories that you stay hooked in until the
end. Reminds me of how I used to get people
caught up in my lyrics back in the day when
I had a lot of time on my hands...hint.

50 cent was shot 9 times, yo 9 times! On
the streets you respect the nicca that hit
his ass 9 times. The reason 50 cent gets
props for bein real is because he is who he
is. The hood is made up of all types and
real recognize 50 cent as one of those
dudes who has the hood mentality. If you not
a part of his camp, then it's f@#k you! In
the hood, if you got a beef with a dude,
then you got a beef with his whole camp,
vice versa. So if 50 cent catch a dude from
his camp bumpin his gums with the enemy, he
cut him loose. In the hood you might get
dropped! That's real! Next....Look at
50 cent track record! The dude got hit 9
times and it still didn't take his heart. He
still out there talkin s@#t! Like he said,
he don't back down! In the hood, if you got
a problem with somebody out there talkin
sideways about you, you step to the dude.
Wellllll...50 cent kicked the doors to rap
wide open talkin s@#t on EVERYBODY! Nobody
stepped to the kid! I'm not promoting
violence, the thing I have a problem with is
these rappers talkin about gun play and all
sorts of reckless s@#t, then when they get
stepped to, they wanna get in a bumpin gums
match! So yea you got fake rap gangsta's and
fake gangsta's on youtube and myspace and
anywhere else on the internet downplaying
the man's hood credibility but REAL
RECOGNIZE REAL and 50¢! He took the
hood mentality to hollywood and still
getting paid for it. They cut the check for
$300 million for dude! That's hustlin! All
haters need to fall back.
